If a scrub-out is what it takes to get this club winning trophies, then I'll take that over yet another papering over the cracks season. I sure remember Wigan's transitional period, and it was a lot less pretty.

What Brown is trying to say - we've got bad injuries and in key positions but under the play off format, if we get a full healthy squad in play off time, we will stand a chance.

Not once does he say we don't want to win or we don't care if we lose, not once has he said this season is over!

Its not hard to understand really!

You need to come to terms that Royce ain't coming back. Get off Browns back and support him. Its Royce Simmons super signings of Lance Hohaia and Laffranchi that's got us in this mess.

Except he didn't say that. You're just giving a pretty far fetched interpretation. Paul Clough said something similar to what Brown said.

I'll make sure that next season I will start attending matches during the second half, since the first half doesn't matter.

I understand completely, I never said Brown said anything; I was giving my opinion on Saints season. You seem more optimistic than most about them turning their season around, and there’s nowt wrong in that, I hope they do, but what you say about what could happen in the playoffs hopefully with a full and healthy squad. Well not wanting to be nasty but the side must qualify for them first, and no matter what you, Brown or I say, that’s not a certainty is it?
