This is a coach who plays an ageing fullback at 6 remember so the possibilities are endless.

Another thing with Laffranchi was that when he was returning kicks he ran in really slow. Given that he looks like a whippet when he is trying to score a try his kick returns were just lazy.

I think I saw him steal some sweets from an innocent child during one of his kick returns as well.

I wouldn't say Laffranchi was lazy, but he's a very flacid forward at the moment.

Go back and have a look at the tries from the Cas game. Look at the way LMS comes onto the ball, breaks the line and demolishes the fullback. Where the fudge is that sort of running when we need it most!?

Far too inconsistant.

Take a bow Alex Walmsley, though. Considering he was meant to be a project - he's already one of our best performers!

Howarth noticeably missed a lot of tackles, his defence was shocking on friday. Like people have said about Laffranchi, he seems to be the easy work and not burst tackles, like Walmlsey does. The fact that Catalans made 400 metres more than us proves we lack go-forward.

Or we didn't tackle them as well. We completely forgot that the opposition has legs and if these legs are tackled, they can't make as many yards.
