I think hudds over achieve which gives them a bigger expectation. Realistically there squad isn't the best so when they lose it's all doom and gloom.

On paper in terms of squads, hudds are behind, Wigan, saints, Warrington, Leeds and Catalan but they are now finishing above these teams now.

They are 4th in league and in the semi of challenge cup, if you'd asked their fans if they would be happy with that at this stage before season started they would take it.

Just take a look at that squad and ask yourself if you'd be happy with it, I certainly wouldn't.

I agree with this. Hudds are big over achievers. so when they play to the level they should be at given their squad people are disappoined.
If we play to the same potential levels with our squad next year, we'll be top 2

You can pour scorn on what we say all you want, but don't say you weren't warned!
I hope NB does well for you, I've always enjoyed watching Saints and are prob my 2nd favourite team, but he has come up with some very bizarre selections.
Eg on sunday we had Kev Brown missing, so - Full Back to Left Wing, Left Wing to Right Centre, Right Centre to Loose Forward (or NB's version of it), Second Row to Left Centre.
We've often had 3 hookers on, and shaun Lunt who was looking like a real star and went to World Cup with England was then switched to back row more often than not - resulting in being out of team and now at Leeds on loan.
NB has done a good job up to a point, we realise that but seems to have got as far as he can with us, and although you talk down our squad there are a lot of very good players there - we realise we haven't got a team full of superstars as yourselves.
Most of us are realistic, our problem is that the team is better than is showing - we just want them to play to potential but as happens every year since he's been with us we go well and then he tinkers and bang - all gone west!
good luck - I genuinely hope he does well with you, but there is a greater pressure with Saints, where he will be expected to win something, where with us there has been more hope than expectation.

Is sarcasm black and white? I've never thought of it that way.

Fact is, Hudds have now lost four matches on the bounce and they've done this regularly under Brown at around the same time. If nobody else is concerned about that then fine but I am. I am concerned for the chances of our team to get to and win another Grand Final. We're a bit short on wins in those in case you haven't noticed.

It's not the only thing that concerns me about Brown though. I'm also concerned about his will I go/will I stay routine and how the Hudds faithful are of the view that he plays players out of position (something, you may remember, that I didn't like about Potter).

I'm quite happy to be proven mistaken in my concerns, and only time will tell as he's contracted to Saints for three years. But I'm not going to jump on the Brown=Messiah bandwagon when I have genuine reservations.
