I agree, it's the fact he was shocking last week it's the fact he can't put a run of games together.

I would be extremely surprised if Meli is injured as this is the first time all week that any injury has been mentioned in relation to him. However, Laffranchi and Gardner have been mentioned in dispatches on and off all week. Since Wheeler has also gone, I think our coaching staff may well have actually learned a lesson - albeit too late to save the fans' blushes at Magic. Meli/Wheeler were a disaster on Sunday in both defence and attack and neither deserve to play this week (and when it comes to Wheeler I find that a real shame as he started the season so very well).

One bad game. One half a good game. The rest is average at best.

Sorry but you're wrong. He was terrific at the start of the season, sometimes our best player.

Wheeler's undoubtedly been a bit of a disappointment this season, but he's playing out of position in a position in the Saints lineup where almost anyone would be struggling to look good at the moment, and he has shown a few flashes here and there so there's still some hope he'll come good yet. You do start to worry that the talent might just never be realised though....
