Royce has the backing of the fans, maybe not forever, but he has enough goodwill to see him through another season at least.

I don't think he plays boring rugby. He has openly said the first 3 games everyone who can will get a run out, so lack of combos at this stage is very likely. As long as he keeps winning, and gets silverwear he will stay.

I also agree with Somerset. Boring rugby will keep you in a job if you win, but if you don't then the fans will be on your back for losing and being dull about it. Hence Saints fans religious hatered of everything potter.

I think it's boring rugby that we play with no structure at all. Our move look slow, poor and mostly ineffective.

The style of play under Simmons is on a par with that served up by Potter.A 2 year stint with him in charge is enough

It really doesn't matter who our coach is now. Our playing squad has been neglected to the point that no coach could make us win a trophy.

fair point.I was watching the game last week and thinking how the team is a pale shadow of the likes of 2000 and 2006

I don't agree with that, I think he squad is good enough to win trophies I just think we ain't a well coached side.

We play with no structure, no moves, poor kicking gave and average in defence.

I think it's individual brilliance that gives us the edge in games but I think with a coach like tony smith, Nathan brown, DA or Michael maguire would win us a trophy.

I loook at how we play and wonder just what we do in training.
