At least he goes! Most Man U fans never go near a game! They make up for this by sitting in their armchairs in towns with non-league football clubs struggling for survival instead of supporting them and being anti-scouse.

I've scraped more worthwhile things off the sole of my shoe than you see walking around in Scum Utd. shirts... Filthy low-life scumbags every single one of them. Man Utd. sum up everything that's wrong with football in this country, even more so than the Billionaires' Private trainset clubs do. Dozens of real football clubs with thousands of real fans are on the verge of extinction while ****s who've probably never even so much as seen Old Trafford in their lives walk right past their grounds every game in their Eon shirts.... Makes my blood boil...

They're not on their own mate! The times I've been on the train going to watch Tranmere Rovers and passing in the opposite direction are trains full of Liverpool or Everton supporters from the Wirral. Since moving house, me and my son watch Prescot Cables when we can. You can sit in the Old Mill (fine pub, real ale) before the game, leave at 2.45 andthe pub will be full of "football supporters" waiting for the game on the box to start. Prescot will not last long on 150 supporters. Warrington Town played them in the cup not so long ago and very kindly gave Precot their share of the gate money. That's sportsmanship. Unfortunately, it's died out in the Premiership.

Indeed - the plastic Man. Utd. "fans" are not alone in their infamy by any means, and all the top clubs enjoy the same low-life glory hunting brigade, but they are beyond any doubt the worst. I was in Barrow for Diamonds' (RIP) game there last season and simply couldn't believe how many Man U and Wigan shirts there were walking 'round the town centre before the game (at least a dozen of each) - total number of Barrow RL or AFC Barrow shirts = nil. Total number of those football "fans" at AFC Barrow later = nil. Unbelievable... And exactly the same applies in pretty much every town I go to away games in. In Sports Direct in Northampton town centre you can buy as many Liverpool, Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal, Real Madrid and Barcelona shirts as you could ever imagine, but not a single Cobblers' shirt... I just wonder what's wrong with these people... I'm a lifelong Liverpool fan myself but have just drifted away from them over the last decade as I simply can't stomach the Premier league and everything it stands for anymore.
