My guess is that Kyle's money has gone directly to Hohaia, Graham's 1-for-1 to Laffranchi, and Leon's dough is being divvied up on improved contracts for Lomax, Gaskell, Foster etc. We may have enough room left for the decentish prop the squad could still do with and which we were apparently chasing, but no more. Certainly not remotely enough for this phantom attacking centre that again enters the arena as the cure for all ills...

Royce has also stated there is room and that they're looking for another forward. Saints were quoted in the press saying they were waiting for one to fall from the sky.

We've got by far the best recruitment out of any of the clubs. Lance, Laffraichi, Flanaghan add to that Perry and Wheeler will be like new sighings too.
Compare that to wigan and wire and we look in good shape.
Wigan for example have lost Coley, the Hoff, O'Carol, Deacon and Joel Tomkins. I've yet to see one confirmed signing from them. Wire have lost King without replacement

No they werent,It was one of those "sources close to the club" type statements.

Cast iron fact they said it. Royce has told us many a time he's looking. Why would they look if they had no cap room?

If there is no cap room they are doing an awful job of things in that regard. Only Roby as a real elite player left now, new signings are very average and the rest are kids.

...making us exactly the same as every other club on "elite" players. Wigan only have Tompkins - Leeds and Warrington have noone even remotely the right side of 30. In fact, how many players are there in the entire league under 28 that you could reasonable class as "elite"? The simple fact is that the "elite" players we all took for granted 10 years ago simply just don't exist for anyone to sign anymore. Our recruitment and the quality of the kids coming through are as good as they possibly could be under the circumstances.
