He kicked the ball away and got sin binned.

I do believe that was the top and bottom of it. Poor behaviour but he has apologised to the team who effectively had to pay the penalty for him.

Talk of anything else is daft, many players who kick the ball away get nothing during a match other than a penalty or 10 meters.

Bans and fines are for foul play or cheating not displays of petulance.

Saints discipline their players for swearing at crowds hence Eastmonds suspension. Comparing kicking a ball in frustration and Swearing at the crowd is just comparing 2 different things entirely and trying to compare an act against someone else, to an act that is self contained. It's not like he launched it at a player, an offical or a fan.

I think the reaction of most rugby fans angered by this outburst is because he and wellens do it too often. And other teams too. We need it out of our game. We'll be using a round ball next!!!!

Unfortunately i have to agree with our Pie eating trolls here, lots of double standards on show. If tomkins had done the same he'd be the devil

No he wouldn't. He'd be laughed at just as Jammer is being laughed at. That's what a strop deserves. However, I'm sure if Jammer flipped the vs at the Wigan speccies, they'd be flailing their arms about the place and shouting for his head in a noose!

In short, there would be little difference in the reaction only in the shirt colours of the fans reacting.

I thought jammer was embarrassing and made a fool of himself as he did in the semi against the scum.

Difference being Graham was wrong and got punished. Graham occasionally steps over the line because of his passion , Tomkins is a little snide cheat. Maybe some people cant see the difference but I think most can.

i do see the difference, but my personal opinion is that while Tomkins is a niggly player, who does play for penalties, that is how professional sport works, work up to the rules, and push there boudries, if the referees alow it, push it further. IMO i dont like alot of his play, and think the RFL should clamp down on alot, especially trapping a tacklers arm with the ball, but thats down to the RFL and refs. Sam is just pushing the boundries, finding any advantage he can as every proffesional should
