A damn good player at club level, tortured us a few times.

however a choker at international level, just like the Cinningham, Wellens and Sculthorpe.

He should also have been banned from ever playing the game again along with Gleeson over is gamble on that game against the bulls.

I might get shouted down here but possibly our most influential player of the Super League era?

He played in a good Saints side granted but he could turn and win games on his own. Toss up between Graham, Cunningham and him for me for the best Saint I've seen in the flesh. [they win for longjevity over people like Lyon/Puletua/Fairleigh etc].

Never forget:

Match winning conversion at old Trafford in 1998 v Bradford.
The partnership with Tommy Martyn.
His game v Ausssies in Austrialia for GB - he could do it at that level[2006 ish?]
The drop-goal v Bradford in 2002
He dominated the 2001 Challenge Cup final, and then again in 2004, and then again in 2006.
He just played the game in a great spirit, smile on face and wanted to entertain

Awesome player. Especially for a Wiganer.
