After watching the Wire - Saints game I do find it baffling that the RFL could pick out a high tackle by LMS and fail to pick out one of many possibles from the wire players.

The only explaination I can think of is that the officials were watching with specially adapted 3-D glasses with the 'wire foul play filter' set to 'ON'.

Either that or the RFL are inept.

When did it actually happen? I was on holiday for the game so have only seen the game once and can't recall it at all.

12th minute. It's the most inoccuous (sp?) thing ever, how they ever spotted it is beyond me. Morley isn't bothered by it, there is no suggestion of the ref seeing anything wrong with it and the game just continues. It's not even a proper grapple tackle, there were several far more aggressive examples of that in the game.

don't forget that beauty of a spear tackle on Blythe. Had all the potential to kill him. "Without sin... cast the first stone"

LMS isn't innocent just not as guilty as some (bridge) be thankful whoever was doing the spear tackle didn't get the maximum thrown at them cause it was 'orrid!
