He's a goal kicker. He kicked our first goal on Friday night as Jamie went off with an injury. Useful to have a back up! (Well, with Eastmond and Lomax also on the field we had three back ups - which is hard to grasp after a couple of years relying solely on Longy!)

I've been impressed with young Makinson all year when I've seen him play for you men, IMO a better prospect for the future on the wing than Foster. I thought Lomax was also dangerous every time he got the ball but one of those nights when certain things didn't stick for you.

Stupid comment. He's only played three times on the wing for us. He's only played in about five games all season.

Its not a stupid comment, its an opinion. Try to be less aggresive in your reponses. For what its worth, i think you're right, we've not seen enough of him to make a decision, but what we have has been great, even in game like friday when we're getting smashed

Totally agree. Never said otherwise. But the implication in the poster's comment was a put down of Foster which, if you go to the Wigan board, was something ongoing for about 7 pages.

Sam has so much talent and, as I said can, can dismantle a team with ease but he has been found out to a certain extent. He has a lovely side step but players have sussed him and he has gone missing a lot this year. Most obviously at the DW against Wire. Wire just got the big guys to sit on him. But, Sam doesn't always have to be heralded as the best player all the time. I can see his talents and I can also, objectively, see his weaknesses. I honestly didn't understand what you said about Wire. I am assuming it is they are too old. I have been hearing that for 3-4 years now. We'll just see how Wire get on. Remember that Wigan in the past decade have been very close to relegation and Sts and Leeds are arguably going through transitions now. That is the nature of rugby league. I am happy with where Wire are atm and you shouldn't worry your little head about it. You focus on the Worriors and I will focus on Wire.

Btw congrats on getting top spot. nothing is won in June.

In that case all 1-17 are paper thin as they were all bullied. (4 nations)
