Very debatable in my book!!! Wilkin is a good player dont get me wrong but if we brought in two outstanding backrowers like you said I doubt Wilkin would get a sniff to be honest. There maybe a place on the Interchange Bench at best.

Wilkin was superb until he was injured when in the England camp. He was loving being at loose, so he said in the press, and looking forward to developing his game there this season. Ha! No chance with our injuries. But I think he should stay there. We don't need to replace him. He has a lot to offer us. We just need some beefy blokes who can plough the furrow for the halves and backs to work. We aint going to get a prop who passes like Graham does or who has the level of fire for Saints that Graham has but if we can get second rowers who can act like props (like TP) then that would be just perky. I don't care what age they are because I'm sure we will have some young guys coming through eventually, just not right now.

It seems we have a quota spot left. I'd like to see Bryce Gibbs from wests who is a younger, tough prop that would very well at saints.

If we go for a English prop, then Mason is the only off contract prop available unless we took a punt on carvell but he's getting on now and had alot of injuries over the years.

I'd jiz in my pants if we brought hohiai, waterhouse, gibbs and Laffranchi.

Cloughy would go as the 4th Prop with hopefully a signing of Chris Hill or as you say Bruce Gibbs. We would have real strength in depth in the pack then.

With LH joining both lists you'd only be able to sign Laffranchi and Waterhouse if Puletua left?

No because flannery will be leaving and laffranchi holds a italian passport
