I did think Eastmond would get a game over Easter. But I assumed he would get a half back role on the Monday game, to give lomax or gaskell a rest so they don't have to back up 2 games on the run.

I would guess that it depends on Meli.

If meli is ready to come back to centre, then on tonights showing Wheeler to move to half back. If not I would imagine we can't afford to lose Wheeler from centre and it will have to be Eastmond to half back as Pryce ain't going to be ready.


On the positive side, we have Wilkin back, Moore back, puletua can move to prop, along side LMS.
What the state of play is with Clough and Perry will determin how strong we are next week. But we have to have some confidence from the last few weeks of play to think we can match Wigan.

Agreed, after having very little last year it's refreshing to see some coming through. A few good long range tries tonight, like Saints of old.

Thought the pack was superb tonight, special mention to LMS and Sia. Our flat attack of last season is disappearing as well.
I,d like to see the stats for JR this match, munching up the metres tonight.

An Eastmond start on Friday, we need to turn into a positive.

I have it on good ground that Perry and Meli will be fit for next week. Even with the loss of Graham, Gaskell and Flannery this team below would be a more than a match for Wigin next Friday

If Graham is injured I would think it was time for Royce to change the outside back to a forward for this game as we'll miss Jammer's long minutes and need to be more than a match for Wigan's pack in order to win.

It proved it fantastically, however I think the need to dominate Wigan's pack outweighs the need to have cover in the backs when we have got players who can cover.
