Success is not final; failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. (Winston Churchill)

Family of discarded player blame coach shocker.

True enough but to be fair, it would be difficult to blame the coach while you are a present player, wouldn't it? Might have ramifications for your job. However, there have been comments made by present players in little articles here and there which suggest the comments by the 'family of discarded player' are actually spot on.

Thankfully our new coach has a different philosophy and appreciates speed alot more. I'd expect our side (particularly the backs) to be faster in 2011. Someone posted on redvee that Gary Wheeler has lost some of the excess weight he had last season and I'd expect the same for a few of the other players who were slightly out of shape.

For me the big difference with Wigan this last season was that Mcguire took their players away from the Bulls mantra of big is beautifull that Brian Noble had forged into the team.

As a result their 3 quarters and back rowers all had that extra zip about them.
It didnt work for everyone however as a slimmed down Feka was shown up completely for his lack of footballing ability.

It'll be interesting to see how he goes at Wakey. I hope he does well as he is a good Billinge, Wigan supporting lad.

Along with every other player in the league according to you.

Seriously though I hope he does well for Wakey

That would be due to having a plaster cast removed, presumably?

I disagree. He did a job for us in the odd game, but i thought most of the time he wasn't good enough. The Championship will be his level, IMO.

You're a great judge of talent - yes you are :SUBMISSION:

Paul Johnson really is a gem, thanks - hope he remains as rubbish as Dean is all I can say.

Neither is rubbish. We offloaded a lot of players last season. God knows why. We need them already.
