Take into account a serious neck injury which required surgery then i would say a 4 year deal is a risk.

never said it wasn't. was just commenting on the 34 bit.

And any SL contract has release clauses in the event that player is injured to such an extent that they cant continue playing, so if injury did prove to be a long term problem then there would we wouldnt be tied to the 4 years necessarily.

That's true, however if Leon signed for the Bulls this year (as per the rumours), he would probably cost £100k+. For him to then get injured would be a massive squad and financial blow despite any release clauses.

True, the questions would be is there anyone that would effectivly replace him that would realistically come to us?, if he fully gets over his injury then i dont see why we shouldn't give him a 4 year deal but if he doesn't then ship him off to Bradford then watch them lose money haha
