Generally it looks pretty good though, looking forward to Good Friday (although that fixture MAY be at Wigan)

The away end has an higher standing capacity than the home end funnily enough.
I think what makes the stands appear big from the outside and smaller from the inside is the relative height of the roofline. It is quite high above the terracing.
Also the stands themselves are bulky to ensure plenty of room on the concourses. Most grounds tend to build the back of the stand were the terrace ends. With the new Saints stadium however the stands bulge out to give more space.
The 6 rows of terracing means that they are actually quite large terraces. Possibly the biggest built in any newbuild stadium in Britain since the Taylor report. Warrington for example only has 4 rows of barriers down the touchline and 5 behind the try line.
