The other rumour about a former Cru player going to Wigan is Gil Dudson.
A prop/2nd row. One big unit is that lad! About 21 years of age too!
Lupton has never been mentioned at Wigan, this is a real new one, if correct!

Great player but quite injury prone when playing League.
Can't see any League club paying him the money he'd want, with his injury record.
