I haven't got a clue, the lack of noise on names worries me. I've certainly had people saying we are signing a forward but no names mentioned so I'm unsure whether it will actually come to fruition or not.

Then again, Flanaghan was pretty much out of left field so we'll have to see. It could be that its a SL prop playing at Wigan, Warrington or Leeds so they will keep it quiet and announce it post-season as that would be more beneficial to all parties.

Except that there are no players at Wigan, Warrington or Leeds off contract that we would look to sign.

I'm not convinced there even is a target yet, just that we're under the cap and have room to sign another player. Griffin's future STILL hasn't been announced that I'm aware of, so there is at least the potential for us to sign a decent player still.

This all assumes of course that we've not miscalculated the overseas slots available to us.

Had a p1ss poor second half of the season for me.
He wont come cheap either,wont be bovered if he goes to Leeds.

He did, but how much of that is behind the reason he's leaving Huddersfield with a year to go on his deal? He's clearly unsettled there and would be as good a signing as we can make at present.

Still think we need a prop and a fullback for next season.

There is definitely no space on the overseas, I'm 99.9% certain of that. The only way there could be is with a technicality unknown to the general masses. Griffin isn't OOC either unfortunately and would require a transfer fee, hence the snag and apparent cancellation with the deal to Leeds.

We won't sign any decent props now without a fee, that's why Hull FC have forked out £100,000 for Andy Lynch. Demand seems to be outstripping supply for good English props at the moment.

If I was to say he doesn't get on with Nathan Brown I would be making a HUGE understatement. I think his suffered more due to that than any other reason.
