If they were trained under the SL umbrella (i.e. at Catalans, and not at a club from the French leagues) then I reckon they'd be okay. Not 100% on that either, though.

Mainly the squad. We've got the promising kids coming through, not looking out of place at all, and we've got the older, seasoned pro's like Meli and TP, but we still need another one or two solid first teamers if you ask me. Especially if we're going to lose Pryce too. LMS and Perry have both done OK in the first seasons, albeit Perry has been hampered by injuries, but we're lacking major go forward without Jammer, and Warrington strengthening their already monster pack with Waterhouse, and with Leeds looking to bring another big forward or two in, along with the already dominant packs of Wigan and Hudds, we could be in some trouble next season.

I think our pack for next year is one good prop short of bring a pretty good pack. Perry, roby, TP, laffranchi, LMS, Sia, Moore and wilkin are a good set of forward but think we like a good hard working rough prop I'm the mould of o'meilly from hull.

It's our backs that worry me. IMO we need a fullback, winger, centre but most importantly we are desperate for a top quality ball playing halfback.

I think next year will be a big big struggle and in all honesty this has been coming for the last 5 years with our awfull recruitment policy.

Why aren't we in for Ratchford? He seems to be nailed on for the Wire as their squad development continues a pace. But why aren't we in there for him? A proper outside back, English as well. He'll make a fine centre if left to develop there.

I don't buy any suggestion that we're anywhere near the cap, we can't be.

Apparently we were. Wigan, Wire and Saints all offered the same salary but Wire offered more add on's such as cars, bonus' etc.

However, Ratchford to Warrington may not be such a done deal as is being suggested. Talks are ongoing.
