Sorry, he can be good in attack, but he simply cannot handle the pressure and every opposing kicker knows it, I'm expecting a perfect demonstration from St.helens' own Matty Smith on Friday

And by contrast if Meli plays well you'll give him due credit yes?

No, I suppose it will be "well it wasn't a grand final" . . . . .

He scored a try on Friday but everyone forgets that Salford scored one by running between him and Josh Jones.

Not like it was Jones' fault for being out of position though is it?!? Not in your eyes though eh, you've shown your agenda's already though so why would anyone be surprised at your daft views.

Any coach will tell you Jones is the one at fault there, he's out of position and should communicate with Meli/be in the right position in the first place

I always do, in fact I started a thread on how good he was against wakey, if you recall?

Of which are all in the past, go on current form (even the form of his last season and this) and he is playing well. Yes he's made howlers previously but currently he is in good form and is one of our better wingers at the club. We have 2 off contract at the end of the year with just Makinson on contract, ideally we would have three so you'd imagine one of Ade and Meli will stay.

She only started watching rugby a couple of years ago so she basically hasn't got a clue about how a team is set up to defend and the responsibility of defenders.

Why anybody is surprised by the unadulterated tripe she comes out with is beyond me.

If you ignore her she might go away!!!!

It is quite hard to ignore a steaming pile when it's dropped in every single thread!

I'd love to know what some posters would have said if Meli/Perry/AN other villain gave away a dumb penalty like speakman did prior to the second try I think it was or gave three in a row away like greenwood did against Hull. The amount of rubbish posted about individuals because of past perception is ridiculous. Still a fairly new coach at the club so everyone has been on a fresh start from the start of the year as far as I'm concerned and Meli is doing well with that fresh start

You need to watch the try again. They were both in position but neither made an effort to tackle. Nothing new there with Meli.

I've been on here longer than you hon so short of being banned I won't be going away.

If you had a better argument you wouldn't need to constantly resort to personal insults. Or maybe it is just that you lack a brain capable of constructing an argument in the first place.

Then you shouldn't keep posting on threads. I can't help it if you see yourself as a steaming pile.

New coach but Meli has been with Saints for eight years and so should be performing at the top of his game in the majority of games. Speakman, however, was on his debut, in the worst conditions possible, so he can be forgiven anything. If you can't appreciate the difference between an experienced long term player and a teenager on his debut then more fool you.
