I'll hazard that the loss of Graham may well impact upon Puletua's decision. Looking through his eyes the future at Saints is very uncertain. Two out of the three marquee names gone. Hohaia is coming, but he's 28/29 (Eastmond has seven years on him) and may not be of the same worth (in relation to the competition). The fanbase is currently in decline (as is SL's) and the competition is being attacked on all fronts for talent.
Maybe, although I'm not sure Eastmond can be considered a marquee name.
After a largely ineffective season last year due to injury, and the saga of this year, he's not proven himself to be anything other than a youngster with (admittedly great) potential. Lomax has come in and, for me, ticks all the same boxes.
Hohaia will surely carry more clout to TP if he's looking for marquee names to line up alongside him - someone who has been there and done it at the highest level, and young enough to make a huge impact on SL.
Saints fanbase will undoubtedly rise in the new stadium, in fact for season one it will virtually double from where it is now.
His decision will rest on whether he wants to stay in the UK or return Down Under for personal, rather than sporting, reasons IMO.
