Only NRL team that could use definitely Hardaker at this time is Newcastle, though Penrith may be interested because of impending move of Matthew Moylan to five eighth in 2017.

We're a joke because we are in desperate need of new blood. Far more than Wigan or Warrington. Yet those clubs recognise that they can't sit on their laurels, while we just sit and watch, hoping that somehow the same squad will get a different result next year.

Still, perhaps in the reserves we've another slow dwarf ready to step up to the threequarters, or another lumbering fat lad who stops dead at first contact in the forwards.

Why not? It was confirmed by the Symonds camp that we tried there and it's blatantly obvious the links to FPN were McManus's attempt to divert the heat from KC onto something positive. The departures of Burns and Charnock on loan was obviously done for cap reasons and yet here we are about to see FPN pull on the Cherry and white shirt instead of ours.

The club is a joke. Why not criticise it?
