all of the people I go to games with have decided they won't be renewing if things don't change quickly. the scary thing is how many fans will be thinking the same. Eamon may be in for a shock if he's relying on our 'loyalty'.
Hence the rumours of signings today. Whether true or not, it's clear the club are trying their best to deflect the attention away from KC and into a positive light with the club linked to multiple players.

It's not though. There are still a lot of fans who actually believe KC that the results recently are down to bad luck and cheating from the referees. A couple of signings would see an awful lot of people roped in. You can see them on here posting team lineups, claiming we're looking great for next season.
It'll be interesting to see how todays rumours pan out. It'd be even more interesting to find out who sourced the signing, although I doubt we ever will. Is it KC's last roll of the dice or something one of the other cronies have suggested?

I think its more with McManus and Rush finding themselves in a predicament of there own making, it was always going to be a high risk throwing KC into the coaching deep end without any forward alternative strategy. Instead they put the club at further risk by giving him an extended contract without any real quality signings to take the pressure off him. Don't think they can be critical of him this season (in public anyway) with the scheduled Hall of Fame making things a bit awkward, the "old boy network" of Scully, Long, Wellens might have been a good idea at the time to provide the winning mentality and experience but it seems to have had the opposition effect and everything is a mess. I,m not sure what Scully brings to the table, Long one of our worst defending players was put in charge of defence, Wellens is performance coach but he waves is arms up and down the touchline. We have a very messy club image at the moment and its not going to take one season to rectify it.

It's embrassing seeing these line ups for next year with players we ain't even signed. Seen one yesterday with symonds in it and thought who the hell is he.
Another classic on here is the old "we don't need to replace this player as we have 19yr old kid who played 5 games in super league ". I remember when Jamie Lyon was leaving and fans was saying tyrer is good enough to step in. We didn't need to replace Chris Joynt as we had Matty Ashurst etc.
KC imo can still turn it around but not this year and next year we need to do whst Hull did and bring in 5/6 quality players and let the dead wood go.
Just to keep up wirh our teams for next year, here is mine
1) lomax/new fullback 2) new winger 3) new centre 4) Percival 5) Swift 6) fages 7) new scrum half Walmsley 9)Roby 10) new prop 11) new 2nd row 12) new 2nd row 13) new loose

I would like to ask these fans you speak of, why, why would referees cheat? I've read a lot of this over the last few weeks. Referees are bias to one side or another, but WHY would they! Make mistakes, yes I can agree with that, but to purposely cheat in favour of one side or another, I would ask again why?

I don't think they deliberately anti any team but sometimes they let certain things go but then don't for the opposition and it gets players, coaches and fans backs up.
They need to be consistent and they are not.
One of the worst refs I've ever seen is Robert Hicks. He Spoils tbe first 15 mins of every game with constant pens The first 15 mins is when players are fired up and we see some good hard tackling but Hicks takes this away from the game.

This, pretty much. I think also, each ref has their own " pet hates", whether ruck speed, offside, forward passes, whatever, and we see these offences policed differently by different refs (consistency, as you point out). I know most coaches emphasise this in pre-match planning, warning their players that this weeks ref is hard or lenient in certain areas. This might appear as bias if a ref is known to allow slow rucks, say, which a particular team might base their game on more than their opponents do.
Agree about the atmosphere. there seems to be an absolute lack of care surrojndkng the club and its rubbing off on the fans. im starting to enjoy how crap saints are now. Ive started finding it comical. Kcs comments after the game are the highlight too.
Either the club is involved in a betting scheme or two of the greatest superleague players are absolutely clueless about rugby league. if you watch some of the players in defence, it looks suspicious at times.
