They were missing a few lads for that game, mate. Granted that's no excuse for their capitulation but it's worth noting that they went back a week later with a few bodies back and turned Wigan over.

Why does it have to be either/or? They're both important games and we should be going all out to win both of them.

Also, there might be a decent gap between 3rd and 4th, but there's only 1 point between 2nd and 3rd. That's the difference between a home or away knock out game in the playoff semi, which is significant.

I agree mate. Friday night is important as we have to make top four. Forget the top 8 as teams like saints, wigan, wolves, leeds, hudds and Cas will start the year with top 4 and not top 8.

It's also important as finishing 1st or 2nd gets us a home game in the semi.

I disagree; its just as important as the more difficult Super 8 games and we should be treating it like a Super 8 game.

Not much point beating Wire away and then losing at home to HKR.

Hopefully though they have given up on the Super 8 and be concentrating on the semi against dire.

Travis plays on the edge and is not subtle ,if the red mist comes down you could lose him for a few games

Don't think we'll be that bad ever again but to be fair if we follow it up like we did last time I'd take a beating tonight.

Can't see anything other than a comfortable Saints win but I gave up forecasting our results a while ago, we can go from being brilliant to awful usually in the same game.
