So basically, the bottom 4 go in with lower leagues top 4. They then start on 0 points and play each other twice?

Then the top 3 stay in super league and the others play off ?

I think all of that is right except that they only play each other once. I think the SL clubs get the extra home fixture.

Actually, the extra home fixtures don't all go to the SL sides. The ranking goes like this:

1: SL 9th
2: SL 10th
3: CH 1st
4: CH 2nd
5: SL 11th
6: SL 12th
7: CH 3rd
8: CH 4th

Clubs ranked 1-4 get 4 home games, those ranked 5-8 only get 3.

I hope they stick with this format because I'm sick of trying to get my head around how they all work.

It's only 4th v 5th that play off. The top 3 and bottom 3 in the middle 8 go their separate ways automatically.
