On the way home and all I can say is congrats. We can talk all day about Flower but ultimately you deserve all you get. Saints have had to put up with more then most this year and you've come out the other side. It's tough to swallow at the minute but we'll be back.

Cheers, they'll be some debate, followed by plenty of gloating and vitriol, no doubt. We've had a a few near misses to make this feel really sweet.

I cannot believe it and once more cannot believe some of you pies straight on here congratulating us. Thank you for that. As for the Leeds fans on here giving praise saying mutual respect i think you're right. I dont hate Leeds i respect them. We have toughed it out for years and gained that Respect.


But ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh boy WERE THE CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!

well done saints, you were written off as no hopers tonight, and you showed tremendous character to win.i'm pleased for browny too, he left us on a sour note but i will always be grateful for him, glad he has got something to show for his time here.

Congratulations from another Leeds fan. Kinda know a bit of how those past losses must've hurt with our own record in the CC and how good and how much of a relief basically it is to get the prize you've been after for so long. Great that both teams have ended their unwanted streaks in the same year. Like I mentioned on the VT, Wellens reaction and pure emotion at the final whistle was a real highlight for me.

Well done, i was never confident that We [Wigan] would walk it [as was being said elsewhere], but you deserved to win, i thought we gave everything but were always on the back foot after Flowers disgraceful assault on Lance Hoaia.. Enjoy it because we will be back next year
