Ryan Hall, the world's best winger, was still playing as were all their first choice backline bar Moon, and most of the pack had plenty of superleague experience behind them. With a 30 points to 8 lead five minutes into the second half there was really no excuse given the defensive frailties of London. However, the Leeds players did not anticipate the never say die attitude from the Broncos lads and they were burned by it.

London fully deserved their win and I'm delighted for that core of very loyal fans as well as the London lads in the team, especially Joe Keyes who at 18 is a rookie halfback match winning hat trick scorer!

(That it was Leeds they beat was well worth a good chuckle or three as well!)

That'll need a full on Flogging of Leeds on saturday, leaving them broken to face us the week after. And then for Leeds to beat wigan after that, imo. Not impossible

Having 2 weeks to prepare, and the potential for cup hangover, can only be positives for us...

A repeat of the LP game would be nice our fate is in our own hands...

You said we would not win any more games this season after the Walsh injury. I offered to take that bet on. You ignored it.

I have no illusion that the GF is way out of our reach. But given that, we can't really do any better than finish top and give us a chance of at least a GF appearance and a loss to Leeds or Wigan.

But I'll take that.

Your imagining of our team being bottom 8 cannon fodder is no more valid now than it was last year or the year before.

We are a decent side with no halfbacks, if we get that right then we are back in the game. Even with one halfback we looked a threat.

I fully expect too. I aslo thought we'd lose to Wakey, Wigan would easily beat HKR anf Leeds would walk over London. So maybe , just maybe ....
