How can you grade punching?

Obviously both Alex and Geling have thrown some punches, how does one get a grade A and the other grade B?

Let's be honest, the walmsley one was handbags.

Walmsley was charged with a Grade B for punching last week. I obviously havent seen the Gelling incident yesterday, but surely a punch, regardless of whether it connects or not, is an intentional action committed and therefore should carry the same grade across the board? Or do the RFL reward players with lesser suspensions if they can't throw a decent punch these days?

Still baffles me that Peacock escaped a ban a couple of weeks ago as he was provoked, yet Walmsley cops a ban after being hit from behind by Pelissier when he was in the defensive line about 15 yards away from where the ball was...must be pot luck as to which panel are sitting as to whether something is acceptable or not.

Would like to bet that neither Farrell or Gelling receive any form of suspension for Friday though

Regarding the Peacock incident. How wasn't the guy who caused it charged?

I didn't see the Farrell one as I'd gone for a leak.
If Peacock got off using the retaliation card then so will Gelling, the Wakefield player has been warned for use of the knees in that incident, and even so Gelling can use the egp which will mean a fine rather than a ban.

Did you see the walmsley incident ?

I can't believe players get banned for fighting. What if we have 10 man brawl, we they ban all 10 ?

Yes, it looked like a bit of handbags. If that's a ban then Origin would be three a side and they should be banned for cowardice.

I can understand a ban for someone coming in to a tackle and throwing a punch(didn't Westwood do green last year) and getting a ban but I think when two players have a punch up then a yellow card is enough
