He started with no bandage on it. I commented about that to my mate. I thought at last he was over the injury. But then at some point the bandage appeared again, just after he'd fed a scrum with one hand. It looks like a real niggling problem.
Walsh was in great form today I thought and with Hohaia beside him and Wello chiming in (albeit STILL keeping hold of the ball too long too often in attack - grrr!), our attack looked better. Why did Robes go off? I hope it was just to rest him. We need him to stay fit!
My top three were:
1. Walsh
2. Wello/Robes (can't decide which)
3. Percival (thought he had his best game in the 1st team so far)
Although quite a few others played really well too and I was one of the crowd who turned up to support, in spite of doing so with some trepidation! Great atmosphere at the stadium. The sun shining, some sparkling tries and some sound defence (pity about the last two tries conceded though).
