I think he should be getting more game time but I also think Brown wants him fitter. He's had a long long time out with injury and illness.

It's clear against both Leeds and Widnes that he's not up to the pace yet but don't forget, he's only 19 and has time on his side.

However, he should have played last week against London and would have been ideal to give him back to back games so could have plsyed this Sunday and then took him out if need be against Warrington at magic.

The key is picking games and using him correct but IMO he's not getting enough game time. I'd wello can sit on the bench for 64 mins I'm sure Andre could do two 20min spells.

I don't know what the big rush is for tbh.

He'll get games here and there, but I don't see why Brown wouldn't play him in these sorts of games if he felt savelio was ready.

I think they should build him up gradually, its possible he will get fitter playing 80 mins in the U/19's than 15-20min spells in a superleague game.
We've got plenty of games to play with and I would imagine at the back of the season he will be an automatic choice in the first 17.
We can't afford any more long term injuries in the pack, maybe the coaching set up don,t want to risk him as we are only approaching half way into the season.

I think fans want to see him play because he has had an impact when he has played. He makes yards. He doesn't just hit the ground when tackled. With Amor out long term we need another prop who can do that. Last season we had a few young guns at prop and none of them were as effective as he has been but they are all getting game time. While this is a debut year for Savelio, it was their debut year last year but they still got regular game time because we needed them.

Get him in the team now? we'll be in the top 4 so blood him v's the lower teams

For me, it's all about how people see Savelios career going - yes he's played prop in the first team and done really well. If, long term he is going to be a prop then I see no reason why he shouldn't be playing these sorts of games. I think he'd go on and be a great prop.

I still harbour hopes though he has the potential to go on to be a world class back row, playing wider, and be devastating. He hasn't been deemed to have the fitness for that yet, but I'm sure he will in time. He's been playing 80 minutes in the 19s for precisely that reason, and I think the fact he's being played in the back row for the 19s still is an indication that's the long term aim.

Exactly, they are getting his fitness up before giving him an extended run in the first team. He looks like a good player but there is no point rushing his progress. The result could be him getting injured or found out by another coach. I am also a fan of playing him in his best position rather than just shoving him in the front row because he is big.

Oddly enough I have a feeling he may get a game at the magic weekend. I think he is a player off a lot of people radar. If he has a good game at the Magic weekend against a struggling Wire side it could make a lot of teams say "Oh sh&t, Saints have another good kid", adding a bit of extra intimidation.

Do you think it's due to his injuries and serious illness we are easing him back. He didn't play a game for something like 7 month! That's a long time out.

He struggles doing the pre match warm up so he's definitley not fit enough, defensively I dont think we can have both Mose and Sav on the pitch at the same time.
I,m sure Brown has him on a match by match schedule and will be making an appearance shortly, we can't afford him to get injured so we need patience to see the final development of a very good potential player.
