Injured. Last timescale given was 6-8 weeks a month or so ago, but has since been changed to unknown time scale ... Because they don't know what the problem is.

At this point, I think it would be best to assume we won't see him this season, and train the house down for next season (it is a groin injury I believe, so every day should be chest day!)

I'd be surprised to see him ever play for us. He's had a good history of career ending injuries. We've done great job getting Matty Dawson on the field this year as he's a similar background

Beaumont was always a bit of a gamble.

A bit of an unknown, probably not costing a huge amount, but would have been a welcome addition over Easter.

I'm hoping he could give us a boost mid-season, but realistically his fitness must be shot.
