If you want to see a truly pathetic performance, rewatch our exit from the cup last year. We still made a good fist at the end of last year though.

Last year was rammed full with horrible pathetic performances. Making a fist of it doesnt really mean anything if you cant hack it in the big games.

We've let standards slip a bit but they have a lot of improvement in them.

I'll say it again, Masoe is over hyped and lazy and Turner's performance yet again was a bit like crapping in your hand and clapping. Sick of his weak defence.

We were poor in the first half against Wigan , its just they were below par too, we were hanging on today too. We were lucky against Cas and Hudds.

Of course the season isn't over. But we need a serious rethink of the way we approach the game if we're going to make something of it. Teams like Wigan (and basically any team that wins titles) come at you from the kick off like they've just found out you've been bullying their little sister. In contrast, we remain pretty passive until we're 18 points down; no line speed, no kick pressure, no kick chase, no intimidation and second best in the 'wrestle'. Unfortunately these have been features of our last five or six games.

The quality of personnel we have is keeping us competitive in games, but that's not enough to keep pace with proper teams that show desire, as we've been seeing,

I'd say we could "hack it" at Leeds last year. A kicker and we'd of won that game.

Everyone knew about Leeds backs, so it was essential our forwards stood tall and made metres. They failed to do this and again allowed themselves to be bullied.

Remember we rested our forwards to keep them fresh, didn't work though as Leeds completely outmuscled us.

Our much hyped up pack has yet again been out fought and out muscled.

It's not just that though. LMS and Mosoe both with loose carries on some of the rare occasions we started to build pressure. It's brainless panic Rugby we simply cant afford given our pack doesnt seem to be able to give us a platform on a consistent basis

Lms had the ball ripped out. Whilst I'm all for not blaming the ref, there's simply nothing he could of done in that situation. Masoe wasn't at fault either the ball was straight to his head as Walsh was slipping for the third time in 3 sets.

Lms had his best game for a while, masoe has one of his worst for a while.

Our pack can do it, we've seen them.

Savelio would have brought more to that game than Masoe. He doesn't take it up enough. I can understand 1 pass away before taking the tackle but it annoyed me how many times he passed it instead of taking the hit up. We're carrying him at the moment. It's like having a monster truck but my nan driving it.
