I don't see any risk whatsoever. 33 isn't that old really.

Why do people assume that going to Australia simply must appeal to everyone? You say it's a lack of desire or ambition, what if his desire ambition is to lead his home town team to a grand final/challenge cup win? Or what if his desire and ambition is to play out his whole career with the club he loves?

Or maybe unlike Graham & the Burgess boys etc he has a young family & children settled in schools etc & it wasn't just a rugby decision. He admitted to fielding & considering NRL offers but obv decides against moving his family to the other side of the world.

Yeah, I'm not saying it's the wrong decision. It's just one not many top players will make given the choice.

Excellent news. My only concern is that he has taken some hammer and is starting to pick up fairly serious injuries. We have to start using him more wisely if he is to survive for five years

Not sure I agree with that. The injuries last year were freak accidents, it was just pure coincidence he had 2 injuries of the same nature in one season. Nothing to do with him taking some hammer.
