I think he's out for Wakey too. Out of sight, out of mind, at least until we play Wire.

One issue that may crop up for you guys, even if GOB stays, is that you'll play Wire at some point in the play offs and then surely he wouldn't be able to play? Imagine how devastating that would be for the lad and disruptive for your plans.

Would it not be worthwhile trying to make it a permenant deal now? I can't think they'd want a fortune for him.

Warrington have let their loan lads play against them this season. I don't know if it would be different for a playoff game, but you would have though that was thrashed out in advance and (hopefully) our club would not have bothered if it was going to allow us to be hamstrung.

There have been very few loan deals of recent years that banned the player from playing against his parent club. In fact the only one I can think of is the Hock saga (there may be others) and if rumours are to be belived that was more to do with threats against player health than a concern of the club about being undone by an onloan player.

Normally though loan deals will involve players from the top club (inside the play offs usually) going to the clubs around the bottom so this situation would be pretty rare.

I can't see Wire letting him play in a play off tie against them to be honest. It's a completely different scenario to a league game.

After tonight I don't think that Wire will want any more young players in their side.
