What is this now: the fourth/fifth time they've beaten us in 16 years? Their arrogance is so funny when they have nothing to be arrogant about!

To get close to them (8 points behind with about 10/15mins to go maybe?) with Wilkin at #7 and our best two players in the stands is encouraging given they had a full team out.

The funny thing about Warrington I don't think historically they compare with Widnes, more Salford and Leigh, Bits of success at different intervals. they have got lucky that some millionaire throws a fortune at them and even then they still are not quite at the races. I don't mind being beaten by the better side but its not a mauling. Huddersfield at home that was a mauling

Or maybe Tony has realised that dominating the league like 2011 isn't needed. Just to steadily win the rounds, taking defeats here and there and finishing top 8 is whats needed.

Also I agree with the 5,000 fans thing. What I should have said is: our fans who have been there through thick and thin. Mostly thick, whith the slightest slither of thin.

Whether we've beaten you 4 times or 1 time in 14 years it doesn't matter. you are only as good as your last game. And there is no deneying that out of both of us one team has come good and challenging for what they have never thought possible. And the other team, who has achieved what we always wanted is slipping away. Definately not for good, but just at the moment. Not trolling, just observing.

I do not buy you are only as good as your last game. That gradual culture shift is why kids in Oldham are walking around in Leeds and Saints shirts. Those Wires fans where as passionate as you could get at Wilderspool, many coach companies had the broken windows to prove it. What historically used to keep a fan base toghether was thick and thin support Wire have built on that with a grateful fanbase who have embraced change. This website is pretty good, just go on another Saints site where a clique slaughter everything from injured players to poor choice of pies in the concourse. A club needs to move on and evolve but never forget the history.

8 points behind with 15 minutes to go and then 26 points at full time just to remind you or did you walk out at that point. Your becoming the new Wigan supporters relating to your history again, I suppose you probably have to since you've won sweet F.A for 6 years now this being the 7th year.

You beat Leeds on Monday with the same team and now you get thumped and you use the excuse we had injuries and had Wilkin at 7. I bet you weren't saying they when you beat Leeds?

You need to get a grip I think. You have won a three cups in what most of you think is your most successful period in your history. You will always be looked upon as second to Widnes never mind the other two clubs you name. Most Saints fans will admit to being beaten fair and square by the better team on the day. Losing grand finals is not nice but just imagine what you would have given just to have got to one for all those years. Just remember if your old enough all the cups Widnes won in the eighties its a pity for you guys the game was not invented at quarter past one last Saturday. Still its always your year and this year it maybe not bad in a hundred and thirty years of mediocrity. And I for one always stay.

What utter rubbish. I love people living in the past and talking about twenty, thirty, forty years ago.

The timeframe and reference points for most people will not stretch that far back regardless of how long you have supported the game.
