Re the article. It is a list of issues. It is broadly accurate and based around trying to be realistic. Pointing at members and name calling does little. The most important question for me is does McManus and Co actually have a list and are they working through it or just hoping for the best.

The quote made me smile but actually there is a serious point here.

A lot of where we have ended up has been based around making decisions because of things we can't do rather than the other way around.

HiHo and LeFrank are coasting plain and simple. If Saddened's crude approach was applied then all of a sudden their agents would miraculously find an opening and they would be gone. I think the club is far to quick to just accept things and let them run their course.

Time for the club to get tough and grow a pair.

The article also touches on the kind of rubbish the likes of Top Saint and her crew bang on about, that you are somehow less of a fan if you moan about how the club is doing. Nonsense, utter nonsense. If the club has got into this mess, why does Bronco and the likes of Top Saint think it will get any better? It'll be the same people recruiting and the same medical staff looking after the players. The truth is that the club hasn't been trying to be successful on the field. It's ignored it, doing as little as it could to get away with it. If anything, the pressure from the fans should be increasing, rather than being asked to bury our heads in the sand. The club is doing an absolutely appalling job and they should know that.

Because were all supposed to accept mediocrity and keep forking out for season tickets and whatnot no matter what dross we are turning out week after week and not complain about it in the vain hope that if we do and say nothing things will just fix themselves. Also remember when we get the likes of the mighty pudding err I mean Perry back we 'wont be far off' ... b0ll0cks.

The article sounds just as much of a Rant.

Big Mac has had a comfortable run as Saints Chairman and deserved the plaudits.

But now the finger is pointed upstairs as much as it is on the field.

I wonder has he got the stomach any more for the job in hand.

For me this is a worse situation than when Royce was booted out last season.

I`m not advocating another sacking.

But we wrote off last year twice, once with the sacking and then when we decided not to appoint Brown early.

And now we have appeared to write off this one as well. When does it end?

That's a lot of goodwill eroded from our fanbase.

For me that comes from the top.

I also have to question what was Brown doing in OZ last year?

He knew a long time before he was sacked that he was Saints next coach.

And then had his sabbatical.

Even if he didn't bring a player list with him and doesn't get to choose which players we recruit, was he really committed to the role during his sabbatical.

And what influence do the former players on our staff have on this team.

As a fan, I feel righly or wrongly that across the board there is a general malaise at the club after the completion of the move.

And very little proper communication - not pr - with the fans.

In all areas - it wouldnt take much and it needs someone to drive it through.

I'm hoping that Rush's appointment as CEO may be a catalyst. But its fingers crossed.

Talk about scraping the bucket for reasons to criticise people, sheesh.

Given the decision to stick with Rush/KC for the season, what would you have him do? Get under their feet at training? Mop the floors?

Man with no job doesn't go to work shocker.

I called that at the time as well. Not getting him in early was a huge error. We could have had all this wobbling last season and he would have spotted that we had the worst fullback in the world and no halfbacks. He'd have then priorities those signings for this season instead of us signing Manu and Turner.

I mentioned this on another thread , and last year. Why we didnt get him in role last year is a mystery to me, we've basically lost ground for no reason.
