He was superb yesterday, really stood up for us.
Personally, I couldn't believe how sharp he looked. Every time he had the ball in his hands he looked like he could make something happen, and unlike most of our forwards, he has a decent mixture of size and pace. He worked hard, and as I say, I was really impressed with him yesterday. He is a natural Second Rower, and if Saints treat him as that, and don't try and turn him into a Front Rower as we tend to do with promising Back Rowers, we have a player on our hands. Our pack under performed badly yesterday, and along with Soliola and Wellens, he stood up, and gave a great account of himself.
As with all the younger players, he did a great job - just wish certain senior players would show the same sort of attitude and work ethic.
