True, but also you have to remember that the attendance is not the true value of the games, just the number of people that turn up.

Season ticket holders still put cash in the system even if they don't turn up.

McManus promised us a team to grace the stadium. IMO he's not kept that promise.

If Lance was a marquee signing, perhaps McManus was planning a garden fete.

Season ticket holders still count in the attendance even if they don't show up I think. Because effectively that ticket is sold so it needs to be counted to ensure there isn't overfilling.

But it is a safe assumption that the Salford game excepted, the missing fans that were there last season but are not this will not be season ticket holders. It will be the less committed variety of fan that will not come back the following game if the one they go to watch is boring or we lose.

We are currently 2 points behind Warrington, coming off the back of a defeat against a decent side that we could have won had the final pass had been caught with a team that was missing a number of key players.

I thought everyone wanted a more competitive SL?

The half back situation is an issue, but less of one when we have Roby and Lomax at 9 and 1.

I can understand what you are saying and reading the letters pages in the weekly rugby league press on a Monday depresses me, but it needs to be said, I seriously think Nigel Wood CEO of the RFL buries everything in the sand hoping it may go away, it was only the other week he was saying this season will be the Best, what with still no sponsor and this was just prior to adding BRUT after shave as the official after shave of the game?? St Helens like many clubs have never been good with PR and keeping supporters informed, not sure they are do good on marketing and promoting games, before any one jumps on me I admit my club is dismal!
