The fact Wello makes the 19 after the last two weeks alone is a concern, time to retire him to a "farm" or glue factory as they used to call it!

There is an argument for needing certain personalities in a team in order to drive us, but we're all of the opinion that Wello is at best our 3rd choice fullback, he's a poor pick at 6 and as for back row, i don't imagine he'd be able to match the physicality of Flash, Manu, Sia (or even Greenwood) or match the work rate of young Walker.

What's the point!?

He's in the squad, so get him training hard and encouraging the others, but stick a bib on him in the team run through and let him defend and on match day, let him carry on the water and egg the boys on.

Personally, I would play Wellens at Full Back, Makinson on the wing, and Swift in the halves, but I can't see it happening. There is just no spark with a Half Back combination of Hohaia and Wilkin, just as there wasn't with Wellens and Wilkin.

I want to see Swift at 6 personally, and I don't know how we can if we don't play Wellens at full back. A combination of Lance and Wilkin in the halves just doesn't do it for me.
