He was just lucky to get away with it. If he had been caught properly on camera I am sure he would be up before the disiplinary this week. Inconclusive doesn't mean he is innocent.

So the dvd was inconclusive. I'm surprised that the conclusive tv evidence that Clough did not ground the ball, and Soliola played the ball incorrectly for two of the Saints tries never got a mention It's amazing that those all seeing eyes missed those offences.

The evidence in the Clough try wasn't conclusive at all. One camera angle looked like they had a hand under the ball, but you couldn't see when it got there. From the other angle when the ball popped down, you couldn't see where the hands were. There was no conclusive proof either way.

Get over it Rogues - I saw with my all seeing eyes that it was a try and that Soliola played the ball correctly as well. I also saw what Mc Ilorum did too.

The worrying aspect about this mysterious incident is that St Helens have set a dangerous precedent. The match review can only have been looking for this mirage at the behest of St Helens. Once we got down the path of clubs acting in such a manner we are on a very rocky road.

There was no mystery about the incident - it happened but the cameras didn't have a good angle on it. end of.
