Someone over on RedVee saying that Perry's career could be over. They think his pectoral muscle has come away from the bone? Ouch.

Sad news if true. It happened to Luke Daviko at Wigan a few year ago.

Just heard from a separate source that it's true.

I know he divides opinion as a player, but that's an absolutely horrific injury, and one he will do well to recover from.

I would just like to wish him all the best, and a speedy recovery.

Initial diagnosis on Perry is a grade 3 pectoral tear. If it's as bad as first feared will require surgery and a rehabilitation period between 5 and 9 months, dependent on severity, until full functionality.

Hopefully it's not as bad as the initial look because this will end his career if it is, never good to see a player go out that way.
