Not any quality halls backs on that list only one is bries and he be past it come next season plus Gaskell is missed off the list for us when he is out of contract

Looking at that list though i'll be disappointed if we can't pick a few decent players up. Out of them i'd go for;

Broughton
Kieran dixon
Dan sarginson
Kirke
Scott Taylor, did Wigan really only give him a one year deal?

Aiden Tolman, Johnathan Thurston and Jamie Lyon would be nice additions for me!!

Sadly, with stae of SL salary cap compared to NRL, I dont think we will see any big names from NRL move to SL for quite a while now

Ben Harrison would be of interest to me.
So would Harrison Hansen, Greg Mounis, Ryhs Hanbury (very underatted imo) and, as we've discussed on here in the past, Lee Briers.

i though Gaskell was off contract?

Some decent players in SL that list that would be worth a punt. The areas we're short in (in my opinion) are scrum half, prop and pace in the backline, so I've picked out some who would probably be available:

Grant Millington
Thomas Bosc
Keiran Dixon
Jodie Broughton
Paul Wood
Rhys Hanbury

And another who I think would go well, although not necessarily needed:

Danny Tickle (Won't happen but is better than Wilkin IMO)

Keiran Dixon in particular is a kid that with a bit of coaching could be superb. He reminded me of Kyle Eastmond in a few games last year and as a full back would scare teams all day long.

Mark Flanagan, Adrian Gardner, Joe Greenwood, Anthony Laffranchi, Francis Meli, Josh Perry, Tony Puletua, Adam Swift, Paul Wellens
all off contract for us, who would you re-sign?
i'd go for flash, greenwood and swift. very undecided on ade but might be worth another year for experience, the rest can go for me

Just to clarify, Achurch was targeted by Leeds because of his British passport. He was definitely a punt, but looked pretty good to me (once I started to look for him) and according to Gus Gould he was wanted by Penrith.

Vickery's a different kettle of fish - he paid his own way, has a British passport and would have been a reserve had Jones-Bishop not been ruled out. He's also only signed a 1-year deal, so not a big bet on Leeds' part.

The general comment about having virtually no chance of signing top class NRL players is sadly true though (Joel Monaghan-type individual cases aside).
