Yep, I'd say Lomax to 9 with either Wheeler or Wilkin at 6 (preferably Wheeler).

I was going to say, surely Wheeler should get a game, rather than shuffling Wilkin all over the shop.

Depends how serious Roby is, no point pushing him out this early in the season if he needs another week.

Whilst you may prefer wheeler, or even swift or Yates to come in to the halves, it may fair better for the team forWilkin to be at 6 and us have an extra back row, given he already likes to get involved with the kicking and halfback play.

There's also Dom Speakman, who's an England representative hooker for the under-whatever's.

Think we should keep the halves as they are for a few more games yet before pressing the panic button. Would like to see how Swift can operate at 6 sometime in the future, don't think we should consider Wheeler, too many false dawns.
I agree we should leave Wilkin where he is in the pack for his defensive duties, and could well play hooker if there is any Roby doubt.

Robes isn't a serious injury and nearly played today. He could have played but it was thought best to rest him.

I don't think yet another inexperienced half back being put in will help either him or the team.

Gaskell and Lomax need to continue together with experience around them. Only if 2011 stylee desparate should we consider putting an inexperienced hooker in there as well.

But apparently Robes is due back next week anyway, so no worries.

Hopefully Jordan Hand will get a call up to fill Perry's spot.

Wilkin filled in when Hohaia came off, I'd imagine he'd play hooker if Roby isn't back, let's just hope he is!
