To be fair, the Turks Head is the best pub in town for real ale. Just slightly too far away for matchday drinking.

According to Google that shut in 1977!

I reckon the Eccleston Arms is gonna be the safest bet anyway. I was told on a Liverpool forum from lads who I assume have watched matches in there it will be on and it should only be about a 20 minute walk from that part of Prescot Road to the ground so not too far away really.

Well spotted and researched. Great little boozer; little being the operative word. They also were the base for the Hare & Hounds ARLFC originally.
