Doubt that. Bradford has proven to be the biggest liability going and yet he wants to keep them in Superleague. He was speaking to his own agenda which is parochial and backward looking.
As a chairman of our club who has saved this club from extinction, processed a brand new stadium and placed a plan for the future, I have more regard for him than the eggheads of the RFL who still advocate that professional rugby league expansion has been a success.
Well that's simply because you are as parochial as he is. I'm not. I can see the bigger picture and just because he put money into the club - and I'm sure David Hughes in London has probably invested at least as much but seen far, far less return for his money - does not give him immunity from criticism or comment or indeed having fans wish he'd button it.
