You can well understand why they'll be packing them in. I think realistically they know they're headed towards a GF appearance where they will almost certainly get a thorough spanking against their second bitterest rivals, so they'll be kidding themselves that finishing top will be an adequate substitute and will want to celebrate the fact with an (even more almost certain) walkover where they can take out their frustrations against their number 1 bitterest rivals.

I can't think of any game there's ever been that I'd less rather go to

You normally talk total rubbish but sadly I think you've nailed this one.

The hubcaps better then nowt but I ain't kidding myself that it'll substitute losing out on the grand final trophy which at the minute is only going to one club.

I'll probably go in the end but I'm tempted to miss my 1st Wigan game in years. It's a nothing game for us and we'll most likely play them the week after. A ridiculously scheduled fixture that no-one really wants.

Worse than that: We're probably going to have to play (and likely lose to) them at the DW 3 times in 4 weeks. Turning up to all 3 of those probable debacles in such short order will test the loyalty of the stoutest Saints fan. Ridiculous playoff system strikes yet again... I'll probably go to the last of the 3 as I will feel duty bound to have to, but I'll find other things to do for the other 2.

I can't afford to go to away games really so have to pick and choose. I won't be going this one because we're likely to be there for the playoffs and I'd rather save my cash for that.

It'll most likely be the biggest attendance for a non Good Friday Wigan v Saints Super League game of the Summer era.

I don't know why you say this?
1st (Wigan)plays 4th (Catalan) & 2nd (Warrington) plays 3rd (Saints).
The only way you will play Wigan in the play offs is if you lose 3rd spot & Catalan beat Cas away & the Bulls at home. Your next game is at home to the Bronocos and you will win that game. Meaning that Catalan would have to beat Cas & Bradford which I don't think they will do.
