He was OK in my view but I thought Flanagan was better and more fired up.

Have to agree about TP lifting the forwards even though he had quite a (sensibly) relatively quiet comeback.

The props were all good. Clough and LMS played well.

Laffranchi and Clough probably made the most yards, but (when he plays well) I can't help but appreciate the impact Perry has, especially in defence.
When you go back and watch the game, have a look whenever Perry's involved in the tackle. 9 times out of 10 the opposition prop ends up underneath him and on their back.
Hopefully this extra week of match fitness will help him carry on a bit of form to the Wigan game.

Get Perry fit and he can be the leader of our pack. Immense tonight at taking it out of Peacock and Bailey in particular. Laffranchi is an excellent back up to him and with TP back now I'd hope we can start domianting packs again. Biggest test is against Wigan on Sunday.

On last nights performance, you'd have to say that our forwards are ok. We have been calling for another prop, but perry tp clough laffranchi lms can do a job particularly with magennis and Forster as back up. Should enable us to focus on the problem half back and centr slot, if shenton leaves. Possibly also the ball handling loose forward that has been talked about this week, although we do appear to be overrun with back rowers.

If Perry can stay fit then he is the aggressive presence that our pack really needs.

But then Darren smith was a centre/ back rower as opposed to a back row/ prop in laffranchi, so would expect him to be bigger and slower. However, in terms of professionalism they are very similar.

I've been very impressed by Laffranchi this season. I just hope Perry can continue his form from this game and give Boof some support.

Boof and Flanagan seemed to have settled in now, Perry needs lots of game time. Expecting the pack to be tougher and more dominating for the latter end of the season.
