Laffranchi 's is nonsense as well as the ref and video referee both ignored it when it happened. We should appeal both its like they have gone through with a fine tooth comb just so they can fill a quota per team. There was nothing in that match worthy of a ban.

From memory, Wello tackled briers, but he wasn't quite grounded so he had a second go, Wello was on his knees and briers head went between his legs.

I don't remember seeing anything dodgy involving Wellens, but I must admit I have been expecting to hear more about the Laffranchi one.

Ggaskell brings more than makinson for me and his two best games came against Wigan in the play off moving lance to one doesnt mean he as to change is game in attack

Mak's sheer pace coming into the line in the situations Wello been in over the last two weeks would be devastating. I don't know if his support play around the ruck would be as smart as wellos, mind.

I'd also feel a bit better about Makinson under the high ball, rather than gaskell or Hohaia.

IMO pairing Gaskell and Lomax would probably be an error at this stage, so I'd either go with Gaskell and Lance at half back and put Lomax to 1 or put Makinson to 1.

Makinson to 1 gives the least disruption, Gaskell to half back gives us a better kicking game.
