How did you not expect this game not to sell out weeks before, you have had over 10k season ticket holders playing your biggest rivals at the 1st ever derby game at LP.

I expected this to happen to be fair. Not everyone checks the internet as often as some of us. I've only been posting since 2009 but I would not have known when sales opened online if I had not been on here. As it was it would make no difference to me. But if someone like my mum or dad where not season ticket holders, they would probably only pop down to the club shop around now to check for Wigan tickets.

I remember a few seasons ago they tried to get tickets for a game, but could not as Saints did not have them on sale until the games that came first had been played. This selling a month in advance is fairly new for Saints, but I think it;s worked quite well so far.

Saints have now entirely forgotten that there are actually fans who are not online. Such people do exist but Saints never do anything to reach them.

They just need to let people know that there has been a change from the previous format and that you can get tickets up to 6 weeks in advance.

Also to be fair to Saints apart from this game it's not been that relevant. Anyone could walk up to any game and buy on the day.

It's Eammon's fault for not building the stadium big enough. We should have gone for epic proportions and used Brisbane's ground as the blueprint. Build it and they would come. We'd have 40,000 season ticket holders now.

Did Eammon not come to you to check whether you could invest 30 million to add to the 30 million he got elsewhere.

We had in depth discussions over several months, but it fell down on his refusal to build my gold seat with armrests. He finally caved on me having a gold seat, but wouldn't budge on the armrests for some reason.

Bit harsh skip.

The idea that these games sell out weeks before is a fairly new one. I remember numerous fans getting caught out the first time the HJ sold out.
