But that doesn't suit the 'how crap was Royce' brigade you know. Gardner was in superb form last season until his achilles injury in May. He wasn't playing for the Bradford game due to injury. I'm sure he would have put just as much effort into things had he been, just as Wello did last week too. Pity some of our other senior players decided to let everyone down though. Most notable of course is Meli, who decided to play tonight.

It's ironic that Leeds, the team whose tactics against Meli have delivered half its trophies, chose to ignore them completely and go with the ones most likely to end in disaster i.e. giving him twenty yards of space in which to build up a head of steam before meeting a tackler - and knocking him out of the way.

I'll give you one thing, you are as stubborn as a mule. I seem to remember you taking every opportunity to criticise Potter you could even though he was a reasonable coach. You never game him any credit at all

Now with Royce, who you decided you liked from Day 1, it's all the players fault

Maybe one day you'll be able to admit that you're wrong sometimes
